We are a family owned and operated small business, based in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Elizabeth (mom) is our soap crafter/artist and is actively involved in the New England chapter of the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetics Guild.
Our 3 eldest children like to participate by stamping bags, helping to pick orders, package and by molding bath bombs! It really is a family affair!
We are true Rhode Islanders, through and through. We never miss the Bristol 4th of July parade. We pick berries at Colt State Park, lounge on Narragansett beach in the summer and we love our trips to Iggy's! Gregg's is our Birthday cake tradition and yes, we run on Dunkin! And we are very proud and honored to report that we've been selected by RI Monthly as one of the Best of RI locally owned small businesses!
We put the utmost love and effort into our home-grown business. After all, we've got to uphold grandma's soap recipe standards! And you won't get better service anywhere else. Customer satisfaction is always our number one priority. We love to provide that WOW factor! So go on, shop with confidence. We will absolutely take care of you!
From soaps and sugar scrubs to old-fashioned shaving soap and beard oils, we strive to procure all product ingredients as locally as possible. Whenever available, we always purchase ingredients that are raw, certified organic, sustainably sourced and/or Fair Trade. Many ingredients are purchased from other small business owners like ourselves. When you shop small, you reduce your carbon footprint, folks!
We do not add chemical preservatives or any petroleum-based additives to our creations. That means all of our products are free from: SLS, SLES, parabens, phthalates and drying alcohols. Quality and excellent customer care are our #1 priorities!
Most "soaps" available for consumer purchase on the store shelves, aren't even soaps at all! Petroleum and chemical based products are detergents. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not have my family washing up with the equivalent of laundry detergent! No wonder it's so drying! Natural soap, made the old-fashioned way is made of all natural animal and plant fats & oils. You WILL be able to identify and pronounce each and every ingredient listed on our organic soap and it's made right here in Rhode Island!
